Lime Trust is a Multi Academy Trust formed of 8 schools over 10 locations across Peterborough and the London Boroughs of Havering and Waltham Forest. Overview of the role:

This is a new role and is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Trust.

- Provide comprehensive support, advice and challenge across the Trust to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all learners

- Take a senior and proactive role in the effective delivery and quality assurance of Lime Trusts safeguarding policy, practices and processes

- Lead and manage the Trust’s response to significant changes in legislation and statutory guidance relating to safeguarding, ensuring that the Trust and all its academies are fully compliant in all areas relating to safeguarding

- Be the key source of expert safeguarding advice to designated safeguarding leads (DSLs) across the Trust and act as a first point of contact and advisor when safeguarding issues arise

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual. Our aim is to provide our learners with the best possible opportunities to succeed with future goals and aspirations in all areas of their life including social, emotional, physical and communication. We strive to ensure our learners reach their full potential to allow them to actively participate in the wider community and to prepare them for adult life.

This role will be a remote worker and the post holder will be required to travel to all schools within the Trust across London and Peterborough on a regular basis, including any future schools that join the Trust.
