Trust SENCO - 0.6 Maternity Cover job summary
Celtic Cross Education is looking to appoint a SENCO to work across 5 schools.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for the right candidate who is dynamic, enthusastic and committed to improving outomes for children with special educational needs. The position will be paid on the mainscale with an SEN allowance. They will be part of the SENCO team for the Trust, which consists of 4 other SENCOs.
You will develop an inspiring vision using the SEND Framework and Code of Practice to support children with SEND to make progress against their starting point. In addition, you will have successfully undertaken the SENCO national accreditation. Knowledge of the Trauma informed Schools (TIS) programme is desirable but not essential.
This role will require excellent organisation and time management skills to ensure the shared resource of a SENCO is a success. The right candidate will have the ability to foster excellent relationships with staff, students, parents and carers across the two settings. There will be an element of supporting the 1:1 provision involved with this position, and you will be expected to attend occasional meetings.
