Trust Senior IT Technician (Primary) job summary

Thank you for your interest in the position of Senior IT Technician at TRUE Learning Partnership (TLP). This is an exciting time to join our growing corporate team, where you will support the schools that comprise our Trust.

The True Learning Partnership is responsible for five schools (three primary and two secondary) set in a beautiful region spanning the Cheshire – Derbyshire border. Our schools are all rated Good by Ofsted, continuously self-improving, and very popular. We work collaboratively and with a real community focus, providing an excellent education in settings where all pupils can flourish. As a Senior IT Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive IT support and assistance to our schools and central team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of our Trust’s IT infrastructure and showcase your technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert IT support to schools and the central team, ensuring seamless operation and troubleshooting technical issues.

Oversee the help desk, efficiently allocating tasks and ensuring timely resolution of tickets. Handle escalated issues, using advanced troubleshooting skills to find solutions.

Maintain and update the asset register, ensuring accurate records of all IT equipment and resources within the Trust.

Participate in IT projects and implementations, staying at the forefront of technological advancements and making meaningful contributions to our IT infrastructure.

The role is primarily to support our Primary schools and add capacity to our existing High School IT teams. The successful candidate will need to be able to travel to all current and new Trust schools.
