What skills and experience we're looking for

We seek to appoint an outstanding classroom practitioner who has high aspirations and the enthusiasm, energy and commitment to teach in our Science department. This is a Trust wide teaching position so the successful candidate must be able to travel across the schools within the Trust. We strive to develop the very best practice in teaching and learning and create inspirational learning experiences for all of our students. The successful candidate would, likewise, be committed to the development of themselves within the Science department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the passion and enthusiasm to teach our innovative and exciting Science curriculum both in and out of the classroom.

The successful candidate must have:

  • A passion for the subject and a thorough knowledge of the Science curriculum
  • The ability to inspire pupils to strive for excellence in Science
  • A commitment, drive and enthusiasm to work as part of our dedicated and successful team
  • Measurable impact as an individual teacher
  • An innovative approach to teaching and learning and model excellence in both theory and practical lessons
