What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint a two Learning Support Assistant to support in class with a child with a specific need, to help them access and engage with varied learning opportunities.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • An effective team player
  • Adaptable, creative and enthusiastic
  • Highly motivated and committed to giving the best to every child
  • Willing to be involved in the life of the school
  • Able to respect matters of confidentiality

The role will be for full time and requires the applicant to have an ability to relate with children enthusiastically, creatively and flexibly. To overcome barriers by relating learning to real life, whist trying to broaden experiences. A knowledge and understanding of ASD is preferable, but training will be given. The posts will be in Key Stage 2 Classes.
