Essential educational requirements

PGCE or equivalent. If currently enrolled on ITT or PGCE, evidence to support progress and expected completion date

Teacher Training Qualification

Essential skills and experience

Effective class teacher&proven record of high levels of attainment
Engaging, lively style of teaching which promotes pupil activity
Detailed understanding of assessment, target setting and securing progress
Working with TA/HLTA &school staff in a range of settings
Effective deployment of support staff
Using a range of IT programs equipment to benefit the classroom&pupil attainment
Knowledge of early intervention strategies to support accelerated progress through KS1 or KS2
Knowledge of effective strategies for managing behaviour
Knowledge of effective strategies to support pupils with EAL
Knowledge of effective strategies to support pupils with SEN
Adaptability to changing circumstances and new ideas
Positive attitude, energy and enthusiasm
Ability to work well in a team
Excellent rapport with students
Ability to work confidentially&with discretion
Excellent communication&interpersonal skills
Ability to be a good role model to young people
