is seeking to appoint a full-time EYFS teacher

We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed teacher to join our Trust at City Road Primary School.

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Unqualified Teacher (Early Years) to join our Early Years team. This role is ideal for a practitioner who does not hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) but does hold Early Years Teacher Status (EYT) or a relevant equivalent qualification, and who is passionate about providing high‑quality early education.

The Role
  • Deliver high‑quality teaching and learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Plan, assess and adapt learning to meet the needs of all children
  • Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support children’s development
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the setting/school
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Early Years Teacher Status (EYT), Early Years Professional Status (EYPS), or a relevant Level 6 Early Years qualification (or similar)
  • A strong understanding of child development and the EYFS
  • Experience working in an Early Years setting
  • High expectations for children’s learning, behaviour and wellbeing
  • Good communication, organisation and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
