Unqualified Teaching Assistant & Wrap Around Care Assistant job summary
Hours - 37.75 Hours per week, term time only with a 30 minute lunch break.
Monday - 8:30am - 4:15pm
Tuesday 8:30am - 3:15pm
Wednesday 8:30am - 6:00pm (Evening session day TBC)
Thursday 8:30am - 3:15pm
Friday 8:30am - 6:00pm (Evening session day TBC)
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic unqualified teaching assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. The successful candidate will be committed to studying for their level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
The successful candidate will work closely with the wider staff team to provide a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment. You will support high-quality teaching and learning , ensuring every child is supported to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities-
Support the planning and delivery of creative, engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.

Assist in observing, assessing and recording children’s progress.

Contribute to maintaining a safe, secure and inclusive learning environment.

Support children’s personal, social and emotional development.

Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers.

Follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.

Work collaboratively as part of a team to maintain our high expectations.
Essential:
- Committed to studying for the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- Pediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
Desirable:
- Experience working with children.
- Profficient IT skills
