Pontefract Academies Trust is a cross phase Multi Academy Trust comprising of eight schools, six primaries and two 11 - 16 secondary schools. The Trust is a medium sized family of schools all located within a tight geographic hub within Pontefract. Pupils are drawn from the local community that includes a mix of different catchment areas.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed fixed term Upper Foundation Teacher to join De Lacy Primary School. This candidate will secure outstanding outcomes for pupils through outstanding provision, using effective resources to uphold the highest standards of learning and achievement for all pupils. They will liaise effectively with colleagues to ensure consistency of approach in teaching and learning across the whole Trust.
This is a fixed term, maternity cover contract with a start date of 28th February 2022, and an end date of 31st October 2022. The position is part time, and will be required to work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

De Lacy opened in the summer of 2010. The School replaced Pontefract Willow Park Junior School and Pontefract Chequerfield Infant School and joined Pontefract Academies Trust in 2013. The School is a one and half form entry primary and aims to:
