Upper KS1 Phase Leader job summary
Due to an internal promotion, we require a KS1 Phase Leader to join New Horizons Children’s Academy. You will be willing to take the opportunity to play a full part in the further development of our school and join us in our aims to make learning irresistible and to provide a nurturing and safe environment for everyone.
The successful individual will benefit from support from the Assistant Headteacher, dedicated phase leader release time and the opportunity to lead a team with responsibility for 180 children.

What you will need to succeed:
QTS and excellent knowledge / experience of teaching
Recent experience of working within a KS1 Primary setting
Dedicated to ensure that all of our children achieve their very best
Passionate about teaching and learning and have a positive outlook and interpersonal skills
A proven track record of supporting teachers to develop their practice
Excellent organisation and communication skills
Good or Outstanding practice, along with high expectations for yourself and the children
