Upper Key Stage 2 Class Teacher (Year 5/6)
The Role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly-motivated, and inspiring Upper Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children as they transition towards secondary education.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the class and will need to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge across the curriculum, with a particular focus on preparing students for the end-of-KS2 SATS.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Desirable to have proven experience teaching in UKS2 (Years 5 and 6) and a clear understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum.
- Demonstrate a track record of securing high levels of pupil attainment and progress.
- Be skilled in differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all learners, including high-achieving pupils and those with Special Educational Needs (SEND).
- Possess excellent classroom management skills and be committed to maintaining high standards of pupil behaviour and engagement.
- Be a team player who is willing to contribute positively to the wider life and ethos of the school.
