Vacancy 1 - Classroom-based Teaching Assistant in Upper KS2 (Years 5 and 6)
Vacancy 2 - Classroom-based Teaching Assistant in KS1 (Years 1 and 2)
Vacancy 3 - Inclusion Facilitator/1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and committed teaching assistant to join our team, to start by 3rd November 2025. Experience is welcomed but full training will be given. You will be:
consistently good / outstanding classroom assistant
committed to achieving high standards
flexible and can use their own initiative, understanding a range of duties
able to work independently and as part of a team
resilient, hardworking and self-motivated
able to adapt to suit the needs of individual learners
able to manage change well, and support children in a variety of situation
You will:
Be required to provide support in small groups
Be a team player who is solution focused, patient and caring.
Have the ability to think on your feet and use your own initiative.
Have a good knowledge of or be prepared to learn about sensory strategies and how to use these to support children to self-regulate or be willing to learn.
Have an understanding of different communication methods.
Provide support for children by implementing an effective range of learning strategies to ensure outstanding learning outcomes for all students
Work closely with the class teacher
Liaise with teaching staff to plan and deliver classroom support
This post will be reporting directly to one of our Phase Leaders and will be based at Castle Hill.
