We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity for a Vice Principal to join our secondary school based in Rugby, Warwickshire. Ashlawn School is recruiting a Vice Principal initially to concentrate on behaviour and attendance. This would involve leading and managing a team of heads of key stage, attendance and welfare staff and line manage areas of the curriculum. The successful candidate would have transferable skills and would have the ability to work across a number of senior leadership responsibilities.
You will be a leader who can inspire, motivate, challenge and support colleagues to ensure that every member of staff is supported to enable all students to make progress in lessons. You will have a clear vision for the success of behaviour and attendance at Ashlawn School and will develop strategies and lead initiatives inline with Ashlawn's strategic plan to continue to develop provision that impacts positively on every student in the school.
The post requires a clear understanding of how to manage change to ensure excellent outcomes for all learners. The successful candidate will be able to communicate clearly and effectively with staff, pupils and parents. You will enjoy support and guidance from an established Senior Leadership Team and a Senior Leader Network through our Trust, as well as an experienced Central Team of industry experts.
The post is very rewarding and is ideally suited to someone who has had senior leadership responsibility (or similar) and who may aspire to Headship in the future, as you will have significant leadership responsibility of the day-to-day operation of one of our sites.
