Firth Park Academy are looking to appoint a Vice Principal to join our academy in January 2025 on a full time, permanent basis

As Vice Principal, you will be an integral part of the senior leadership team, responsible to the executive principal and the head of school. You will be a talented, tenacious and creative leader who will add further capacity to our existing team. We are committed to providing the highest academic standards which challenge pupils to achieve their very best whilst ensuring a school ethos that is inclusive and fair. We actively welcome applications from Senior Leaders aspiring to their next step, as well as from current Vice Principals looking to further develop their career with a view to moving into headship.

If you are the person we are looking for, you will be able to demonstrate:

* Significant experience driving performance improvements in a teaching and learning role or the ability to do this
* An ability to think and act strategically with sensitivity to organisational and wider political priorities to deliver high-quality outcomes
* An ability to use data effectively and present views and opinions in discussion which contribute to positive outcomes, including the ability to challenge, give feedback and accept feedback constructively
* A proven track record of effective people, resource and financial management

* The ability to demonstrate high expectations and to instill these in others
