Budmouth Academy is a large 11-18 academy in a beautiful part of the country and is a member of the Aspirations Academies Trust.We are seeking an exceptional colleague to join our leadership team and help us continue the work in ensuring that high standards are achieved by all of our students. This post would act as great preparation for future headships.
We are looking for an ambitious and innovative Vice Principal for Teaching and Learning, we are looking for a leader with a successful track record of school improvement. This post offers the opportunity for involvement in all aspects of school leadership and management and the successful candidate will contribute to a range of whole school responsibilities. However, in the first instance the key responsibilities for this post will include the leadership of Teaching and Learning, CPD, Appraisal and Assessment for Learning.The successful candidate will need to have a strong background in aspects of safeguarding, attendance, personal development and wellbeing.See the letter to candidates for further details on our senior leadership team and how this post will fit in.
The Vice Principal will contribute to the successful strategic leadership of the Academy and will be accountable, as a member of the senior leadership team, for inspiring, managing and leading staff and students to achieve their very best. Alongside these attributes, candidates should be able to demonstrate an ability to effectively enthuse and lead others and a commitment to ongoing CPD relevant to their position.
