Vice Principal i/c Teaching, Learning and Pedagogy job summary

Bishop Milner Catholic College is seeking to appoint an inspirational Vice Principal to lead the continued improvement of teaching, learning, and pedagogy across the college. This pivotal role will shape the next phase of our journey, ensuring that every student benefits from exceptional educational experiences and that colleagues are supported to excel in their practice.

As Vice Principal, you will design and implement strategic plans that drive high-quality outcomes for students. You will play a central role in sustaining our culture of ambition, collaboration, and continuous improvement, working alongside a dedicated and vibrant staff team committed to securing the very best for our community.

We are looking for a leader with a proven track record of raising standards through excellence in teaching and learning. You will champion ‘quality first inclusive teaching’ for all students, uphold the highest expectations, and ensure that behaviour, personal development, and wellbeing provision remain exemplary throughout the college.

Over time, the successful candidate will also have opportunities to contribute to wider aspects of school leadership, including curriculum development and assessment. This is an outstanding opportunity for a driven and aspirational Catholic leader to take the next step in their career, working closely with the Executive Principal and developing their expertise as a senior leader.
