Vice Principal job summary
Astrea Academy Trust has an exciting opportunity for a Vice Principal to join one of our Academies, for a twelve month secondment, and then to work across our Primary Academies as part of a career progression pathway!
Astrea Academy Trust was established on the basis of tackling historic educational disadvantages and to play our part in the social regeneration of the communities we serve. This position has been brought in to allow Astrea to make further gains in an already successful tenure and ensure our 14,000 pupils receive the very best in educational standards.
The Trust-appointed Vice Principal will oversee Astrea Academy Trust’s Primary Academies across the South Yorkshire region. Working alongside the Academy Principal and Senior Leadership team, you will be promoting and establishing excellent teaching and learning standards and an excellent school culture.
This is an ideal position for someone with previous experience in a leadership post with evidence and a track record of school improvement and excellent teaching and learning standards.
