About us

I am delighted to introduce our latest school improvement project, YES Connected. New to The YES Trust, our online learning platform is an innovative approach to alternative provision for students who need a different approach.

YES Connected is here to support schools and local authorities in reaching learners who face barriers to accessing full-time education in a traditional school setting. Our mission is to deliver an excellent online education while working closely with home schools to strengthen each student’s knowledge, confidence, and wellbeing, with the ultimate goal of reintegrating them successfully into school life.

YES Connected is personalised and child-centred, built around four core values:

  • Adaptive to need:Centred around precision teaching, every learner receives a tailored learning experience focussing on their individual needs, ambitions and prior knowledge.
  • Child-centred– We take the time to understand every child and adapt to their individual needs and circumstances, whilst maintaining high aspirations for their learning and future success.
  • Authentic relationships– Through live lessons, wellbeing check-ins, weekly assemblies, mentoring and regular communication, we create a safe, connected community.
  • Transforming lives– We provide high-quality, nurturing education for children who may otherwise engage very little with learning, empowering them to reconnect with education and achieve meaningful success.

The successful candidate will help shape this vision by designing and delivering engaging online learning, from short-term interventions to full curriculum pathways and live lessons as part of individual education plans. Starting small to prove the concept, YES Connected are currently operating with a very small team through a blended offer of live and pre-prepared lessons. With the support of a larger teaching and learning team, we want to deliver more high-quality live lessons with specialist teachers. Our ultimate aim is to be able to offer a full timetable of live lessons online for those who can access it, whilst maintaining our blended approach for others.

This project has the potential to be life-changing for learners, families, and educators. It will only be limited by our imagination. If you are passionate about inclusion, innovation, and making a real difference, we would love you to join us on this journey.
