The role

The successful applicant will plan and deliver high-quality instrumental/vocal teaching within multiple Academies across the Trust and will facilitate extra-curricular musical opportunities. While most teaching will take place during school hours, some work will be required out of school hours, most notably for rehearsals and performances.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate music teacher, with a proven track record in achieving strong outcomes, to have a significant impact. This role presents an opportunity to work with nationally recognised practitioners and access high quality CPD.

The trust is interested in applications from experienced instrumental and vocal tutors representing all musical specialisms, but especially those with the following specialisms at the outset:

Piano
Singing
Guitar (classical/acoustic/electric/bass)
Drum kit & Percussion
Woodwind
Strings
Requirements

Grade 8 or above in a primary study instrument
Grade 5 music theory or above
Valid driving licence
Teaching a range of ages, from primary to secondary pupils
Leading and assisting with ensemble activities (choirs, ensembles, performance opportunities)
