GRADE: Grade E

SALARY: £25,419 - £30,095 per annum pro rata

HOURS: 37 Hours Per Week

WEEKS: Term Time + 1 week

We are looking for someone who is passionate about improving the lives of our students to work as a Welfare and Pastoral Manager in a school which was recently judged to be strongly Good with Outstanding Personal Development.

Key Responsibilities:
• To liaise between home and school whilst providing a clear and direct line of effective communication.
• Deliver learning activities to pupils within agreed system of supervision, adjusting activities according to pupil responses/needs.
• Delivering strategies and programmes e.g. counselling and basic English and Mathematics under the guidance of the Senior Leadership Team.
• Work within an established discipline policy to anticipate and manage behaviour constructively, promoting self-control and independence.
• Comply with and assist with the development of policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting concerns to an appropriate person.
• Be aware of and support difference and ensure all pupils have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.

Such other duties may be appropriate to achieve the objectives of the post or to assist the Academy in the fulfilment of its objectives commensurate with the post holder’s salary grade, abilities and aptitudes.
