Welfare Assistant job summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team, providing essential support to pupils in EYFS. The role involves assisting with personal care, mealtimes, and arrival/departure routines, as well as supervising pupils in classrooms, playgrounds, and dining areas to ensure safety and positive behaviour. You will help prepare and maintain learning resources, support pupils with special educational needs or additional physical/emotional needs, and monitor their well-being, reporting any concerns promptly. The position also includes promoting inclusion and social interaction, administering first aid, and safeguarding pupils in line with school policies. As part of our team, you will contribute to school events, collaborate with colleagues, and uphold the ethos and values of the school and Trust. Flexibility, professionalism, and a commitment to creating a safe, stimulating environment are essential.
