- Have GCSE qualifications in English and maths, minimum of a grade 4/C are required.
- Are First Aid trained - this is required to be kept continuously refreshed
- Possesses excellent communication skills

- Can work without direct supervision
- Can remain calm in an emergency

About the Post
We are seeking to appoint a Welfare Assistant on a full time, permanent basis. This role is to be responsible for the welfare of students and staff if they are unwell or injured.
The successful candidate will provide initial first aid, care or treatment and take the necessary course of action.

We are looking for an outstanding individual who will relish the opportunity to:
- Manage and oversee the medical provision at Twynham school.
- Provide medical care and welfare for students as a first point of contact.
- Liaise with parents, carers, and emergency services.
- Assist in organising the immunisation programmes
- Provide support to enable pupils to enhance their physical, emotional health and well-being
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.
