This is a great opportunity for a driven Leader to develop strategies and be a key contributor towards safeguarding practices.
The role:
As a Welfare Leader, you will be our ambassador and promote the academy’s culture and raise aspirations. You will play an active role in the academy’s community work, reaching out to engage all groups and co-ordinating links between academic staff, support staff and the wider community. You will also play an important role by ensuring any barriers to learning are removed through monitoring the attendance and behaviour of pupils.
If you are someone who understands the difference a great education can make to the lives of pupils, their families and communities; have a passion and belief in the potential of every student; and are excited at the prospect of growing as an individual in a supported and education focused setting, we look forward to hearing from you.
Ark value diversity and are committed to safeguarding and promoting child welfare. The successful candidate will be subject to DBS and any other relevant employment checks.

By joining Ark Boulton Academy means, you become part of a network of education experts who are all united by the same purpose - a commitment to making a difference where it matters most. Our motto ‘It takes a whole community to bring up a child’ represents the spirit within which we work. It influences the way we support each other, our parents, students and other stakeholders. We also place great importance on our leaders to strengthen those relationships.
Each day is unique for our team, as they collectively support the activities within and outside the school. Our consortium of creative and resourceful team members ensure we go above and beyond in order to constantly improve our service to the community we serve.
