Reporting to: Culture Lead Start date: ASAP Hours: 41 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks per year plus 40 hours worked across school holidays, annualised hours contract) Salary: Ark Support Staff Scale Band 6 (Outside London) £20,852-£25,927 Closing date: 4th July 2022 at 9am This is a great opportunity for a driven Leader to develop strategies and be a key contributor towards safeguarding practices. The role: As a Welfare Leader, you will be our ambassador and promote the academy’s culture and raise aspirations. You will play an active role in the academy’s community work, reaching out to engage all groups and co-ordinating links between academic staff, support staff and the wider community. You will also play an important role by ensuring any barriers to learning are removed through monitoring the attendance and behaviour of pupils. If you are someone who understands the difference a great education can make to the lives of pupils, their families and communities; have a passion and belief in the potential of every student; and are excited at the prospect of growing as an individual in a supported and education focused setting, we look forward to hearing from you.
