What skills and experience we're looking for
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed individual to be an integral part of the Priory Support Staff Team. The post holder will be responsible for providing first aid and attending to all matters relating to the health and welfare for the pupils, staff and visitors.
The successful candidate will have;
- A full First Aid at Work Certificate or be willing to gain this qualification.
- Confidentiality at all times. Some information handled will be of a sensitive nature.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure; work as part of a team and on own initiative.
- Ability to work effectively with other staff in the school, parents and a range of outside agencies.
- A desire to learn and a willingness to tackle a variety of tasks.
Safeguarding our students is of paramount importance to us and the successful candidate will be given full training, however they will need to demonstrate appreciation of the close nature of this role to many concerns and issues raised by our students or that present to the welfare team. Due to this, the successful applicant will need to be an empathetic and vigilant person able to pay attention to details and be observant.
