Wellbeing & Safeguarding Officer - Children's Team job summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Children's Team. This role is integral to supporting the safeguarding and mental health of our students, as well as fostering positive relationships within the school and the wider community. You will work as part of a larger team to ensure the well-being of our students, offering support in safeguarding matters. You will organise, lead and promote mental health and well-being initiatives. You will work as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead within one of our four houses with support and guidance from the DSL and Children’s Team Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reacting to a variety of situations throughout the day, working closely with staff, students, and external partners to provide tailored support where needed. Effective communication and teamwork are essential, as the role will involve collaboration with colleagues to ensure that all safeguarding protocols are met, and that children feel supported in a nurturing environment.
Experience in safeguarding children and supporting mental health and well-being is highly beneficial. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, empathetic, and committed to making a difference in the lives of young people.
