Work Experience Coordinator job summary
Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them thrive in their educational and professional journeys? Highfield Ely Academy is seeking a dedicated Work Experience Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis.
Title: Work Experience Coordinator
Hours: 1 day (6 hours) per week (flexible scheduling available)
Salary Range: ALT grade F, point 16-19
Reporting to: Department Leader (Uppers)
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Uppers Department Leader and staff to build strong relationships with students.
- Assist in identifying and securing suitable work placements for students across all learning pathways (Blue, Green, and Yellow).
- Develop and enhance our Work Experience curriculum tailored to diverse student needs.
- Maintain strong partnerships with employers, organizing risk assessments and attending student interviews where necessary.
- Host engaging work-related learning events in collaboration with employers and external contributors.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to fostering student growth. Experience in coordinating work experience programs or similar initiatives is a plus.
