Wrap Around Care Play Assistant - Breakfast & After School job summary

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Playleader to join our wrap-around care team based at Dean Gibson Primary School. The successful candidate will help create a positive, safe and enjoyable environment for children before and after school.

You will support children in their play, help to set up and tidy away equipment, encourage positive behaviour, and ensure pupils are safe and happy during sessions. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and is looking for a rewarding role within a friendly school team.

Candidates need to be:

Supportive of the school’s Catholic values
Friendly, approachable and confident in interacting with children
Able to supervise pupils safely and promote positive play
Calm, patient and supportive
Able to follow routines and respond to children’s needs
Reliable, punctual and committed to the welfare of children
