Working in our Wraparound Care is a dynamic experience where no two sessions are the same. We are seeking a flexible, energetic individual who can maintain active supervision and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills are fundamental, as you will play a key role in building trusting relationships with our parent community. While previous experience is desirable, we provide full training for the right candidate who is committed to student wellbeing and engagement.

Key responsibilities:

· Supervision: Constantly and actively supervising the children during indoor and outdoor play.

· Registration & Pick-up: Managing the sign-in/sign-out sheets to ensure children are only released to authorised adults.

· Health & Safety: Identifying and removing hazards in the playground and following the school’s First Aid and Safeguarding policies.

2. Activity Planning & Engagement

· Leading Games: Organising structured activities for the attendees.

· Resource Management: Setting up equipment (like board games or sports equipment) and ensuring everything is tidied away at the end of the session.

3. Food and Drink

· Food Prep: Preparing simple, healthy snacks

· Allergy Awareness: Being strictly diligent about children’s specific dietary requirements and allergies.

· Hygiene: Encouraging children to wash their hands and maintaining a clean dining environment.

4. Behavioural Support & Mentoring

· Positive Reinforcement: Modelling good behaviour and using the school’s reward systems, and linked behaviour policy

· A Relational Approach: Helping children talk through disagreements and manage their emotions in a constructive way.

5. Communication & Professionalism

· Parent Liaison: Providing brief updates to parents at the end of the day.

· Teamwork: Liaising with other school adults to ensure a smooth transition from the classroom to the club.
