We are looking for an enthusiastic After School Club Manager to lead The Willow Club at St Nicholas Church of England Primary School.

As the After School Club Manager, you will be the heartbeat of The Willow Club, leading our fantastic team to provide a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for pupils after the school day ends. This is a brilliant opportunity to help shape the club’s daily routines and activities, ensuring every child enjoys a creative and caring experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organise, manage, and support the wraparound care team to deliver high-quality after-school provision.

  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities – from quiet crafts to adventurous fun with visiting specialists.

  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times.

  • Build warm, professional relationships with children, families, and staff.

  • Maintain accurate administrative records, including registers, reports, and incident logs.

  • Promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported.

  • A confident leader with experience working with children in a childcare, playwork, or school setting.

  • A caring, creative approach to supporting children’s development and wellbeing.

Essential Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience of safeguarding and first aid (training can be provided).

  • Strong understanding of child development and the needs of primary-age pupils.

  • A desire to contribute to a joyful, safe space for children at the end of their day.
