Wraparound Leader job summary
Our wraparound childcare is vital for many of our families and as the Leader you must ensure this provision meets our high expectations. You will be a confident and creative person who loves working with children and can support their individual needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
The day to day running of our after-school club, offering a range of activities; including sports, arts and crafts, and games
Have high expectations of behaviour and inspire and motivate our children
Be supportive, nurturing and understanding with high expectations.
Seek to make the after school club an exciting and a positive experience.
Communicate well with parents, carers and members of staff, as well as pupils.
Work closely with staff as part of a team
Actively promote the after-school club to increase numbers
We want to hear from you if you:
Love working with all children and confident enough to support individual needs
Have strength in your communication and interpersonal skills to support children and parents
Are able to deal effectively with any first aid needs (training provided)
Are confidential, positive and professional
Are reliable, well organised and a good time keeper
Are kind and child-centred in order to create a homely environment each and every day of the school year
Are nurturing but firm to create warm and safe environment which is a continuation of our school expectations
Can work independently but also have the interpersonal skills required to work effectively in a team
