Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in line with the national curriculum and the ethos of a Catholic school.
- Support the faith life of the school, fostering pupils’ spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development.
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons effectively to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Create a positive, safe, and supportive classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for children.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school community such as supporting school Masses on Sunday mornings at various dates throughout the year.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified teacher (QTS essential).
- Demonstrate a commitment to the vision and values of Catholic education (being a practising Catholic is desirable but not essential).
- Have experience of teaching at Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.
- Be passionate about teaching and learning, with high expectations for all pupils.
- Be able to inspire, motivate, and support children to achieve their best.
- Be an excellent communicator and a team player.
