What skills and experience we're looking for

Hallam Primary School are seeking to appoint a Y6 class teacher to cover maternity leave until Easter 2027.

The successful candidate will join us to complete a strong team and contribute to the school’ssuccess. We are looking to appoint someone who is keen to work as part of a team, willing to inspireand motivate pupils and have a good understanding of school improvement.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

•Thorough knowledge and understanding of teaching and learning issues

​ •Ability to generate, organise and analyse data in order to raise standards

​ •Thorough knowledge and understanding of assessment

​​ •​Understanding of the school's ethos and behavioural policies

•Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively

•Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, parents

•Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences and situations
