Tenbury CE Primary Academy and the Diocese of Hereford Multi Academy Trust (DHMAT)

have an exciting opportunity for a Year 1 teacher to join us here.

Tenbury CE Primary Academy is a partner academy of the DHMAT, located in the popular market town of Tenbury Wells in Worcestershire. We are a one-form entry school for children aged 2-11 years and pride ourselves on our ‘school family’ being welcoming, inclusive and nurturing. We recently achieved the highest accolade of ‘Excellent’ in our SIAMS inspection report, stating ‘This school is energised by the desire to make a difference.’

The Governors and Headteacher of Tenbury CE Primary Academy wish to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to work as part of a dynamic team, working closely with a job-share partner, to cover maternity leave. The person appointed will need to have good communication and organisational skills and a commitment to teamwork.

We are looking for a candidate who:

Is able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of the National Curriculum

Is committed to ensuring that all children achieve the highest possible outcome

Is an excellent classroom practitioner and can inspire and motivate children

Able to demonstrate a willingness to become fully involved in the life and work of the school, including our Christian ethos.
