The Governors of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary are looking to appoint an enthusiastic class teacher who loves being part of a warm and witty teaching team. This role is to cover a maternity leave in our Year 1 class from 28 April 2025 to 31 December 2025 (two terms). This role is part time 3 days a week (preferably Wednesday to Friday).

You will find that St Joseph’s is full of eager learners and smiling faces - adults and children. Our Year 1 class is particularly gorgeous!

St Joseph’s Catholic Primary is a lovely place to work. We enjoy excellent relationships with pupils, parents and the parish, where trust and good communication are the bedrock of our success. The staff are welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable, always eager to share a good joke or a cup of tea and a slice of cake (or two). We are a fabulous school, continuously looking to improve the learning experiences of our pupils, whilst balancing our teachers’ work-life balance. We have had a recent very positive Ofsted visit which confirmed what we already know about our school.
