The Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Year 1 Teacher on a fixed term basis who will inspire every pupil to achieve their full potential. You will plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons, create a positive learning environment, and work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider Trust.
About You
- A degree (or equivalent) and QTS.
- Proven strategies to support learning for all pupils, including those with additional needs.
- Creativity and flexibility in your teaching approach.
- Strong behaviour management skills that build mutual respect.
- A willingness to embrace technology and new ways of working.
- A growth mindset and commitment to your own professional learning.
- Awareness of strategies available to improve the learning and achievement of all students.
- Ability to use a range of teaching and learning strategies.
- Knowledge of current issues and developments in education.
- Confident user of standard IT packages, particularly when used to enhance student learning.
- Behaviour management techniques.
