Skills and QualificationsEssential
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience of teaching within Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.
- A strong understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- High expectations for pupil achievement, behaviour, and personal development.
- The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
Desirable
- Experience of teaching in a faith school setting.
- Experience of supporting pupils with SEND and adapting provision to meet individual needs.
- Experience of using assessment data to monitor progress and inform planning.
- Experience of leading or contributing to wider school initiatives.
