We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and highly committed teacher to join our successful school, which is based close to the historic town of Skipton in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. As part of a multi-academy trust, our partnership of primary schools firmly believe that by working and learning together we will make even more difference to our children’s lives. Through this strong partnership we can offer the successful candidate collaborative learning opportunities, including dialogue and working time with other Year 3/4 teachers.
As a key partner in the Harrogate and Rural Teaching School Alliance our school successfully provides high quality training for teachers at all stages of their careers. We will ensure that the successful candidate has access to a personalised plan for professional development which will meet their individual needs e.g. personalised ECT Induction programme, middle leadership and aspiring leaders training.

Over the last five years the school has achieved the prestigious Green Flag Status for our work towards sustainability and in 2019 we achieved the Sainsbury’s School Games’ Gold Kitemark for the fifth consecutive year, which recognised the high level of physical activity that the school provides. The school has continually maintained Fairtrade Status and in 2017 was one of the first schools in the country to achieve the Woodland Trust Gold Award. Most recently, in 2018 the school was awarded the Heritage Schools Award which recognises the school’s work on local history.
