Year 3 Class Teacher and SENDCo job summary
Maulden Lower School is a single form entry village lower school with a pre-school and is able to offer well behaved, engaged children and a learning environment with supportive and friendly staff.
We are looking for someone who:
- Puts the children at the heart of their teaching
- Is forward thinking with a passion for outdoor learning
- Will be a positive role model
- Has high expectations in behaviour and attainment
- Has a good understanding of a range of special educational needs and ways to support them
- Is a team player
- Is enthusiastic and willing to be flexible
As our SENDCo you will:
- Have excellent communication skills, helping to monitor and support best practice throughout the school
- Develop a good working relationship with colleagues, parents and other professionals working to support our children and helping to remove barriers to learning
- Provide advice, support and training to our staff to enable them to meet the needs of all our children.

Training can be provided for those wishing to apply but do not hold a current SENDCo qualification.
