Skills and QualificationsEssential

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience of teaching within Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.
  • A strong understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • High expectations for pupil achievement, behaviour, and personal development.
  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.

Desirable

  • Experience of teaching in a faith school setting.
  • Experience of supporting pupils with SEND and adapting provision to meet individual needs.
  • Experience of using assessment data to monitor progress and inform planning.
  • Experience of leading or contributing to wider school initiatives.
