Year 4 Class Teacher with a TLR 2B to lead Year 3/4 UPS/MPS job summary
This post would be suitable for an outstanding teacher with an excellent knowledge of recent developments in the primary curriculum.
Applicants will need to:
• Manage and lead the Year 3/4 team of teaching staff and teaching assistants as a strategic leader to achieve the best possible learning experiences for all children.
• Be able to ensure high standards of planning, teaching and learning across year groups, including coaching opportunities to support staff
• Hold a teaching responsibility for a Year 4 class with dedicated management time.
• Be an excellent classroom practitioner with a track record of high impact on pupil outcomes;
• Bring fun, enthusiasm and high expectations into a creative environment;
• Motivate, challenge and inspire children to become active independent learners;
• Leading an area of the school improvement in school
• Work as part of the Senior Leadership Team, supporting the Key Stage 2 Assistant Headteacher.
