Classroom Teacher (Maternity Cover) job summary

Thames View Primary School is seeking to appoint two enthusiastic, talented, and passionate Classroom Teachers, to start from 28th August 2025.

We have an ambitious vision for our school driven by our excellent team to ensure our students experience as much Outstanding and Good practice as possible. In line with this, we are looking for a candidate who can regularly deliver lessons to these standards.

This is a full time (1.0 FTE), fixed term role, paid based on the STPC Main/Upper Teachers Pay Range, dependant on experience.

This is a fixed term position on a maternity cover basis until July 2026, and there may be opportunity for a permanent position at the end of this period.

Thames View Primary School is a two-form entry school in Rainham, Kent. We are a ‘Good’ school (OFSTED 2020).
