Little Mead Primary Academy is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented teacher 0.5FTE Wednesday to Friday to join us from January 2026. Key Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Support the vision and values of the school and Trust, implementing initiatives from senior leadership.
  • Deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that meets the Teachers’ Standards and ensures strong pupil progress.
  • Plan, assess, and report on pupil attainment, adapting teaching for SEND and able pupils in collaboration with SENCO and external agencies.
  • Build positive relationships with parents, sharing pupil targets and progress regularly.
  • Maintain a safe, engaging learning environment and contribute to subject leadership across the school.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, attend training and appraisal meetings, and stay informed of educational developments.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through supervision duties, extracurricular activities, and school events.
  • Uphold safeguarding policies, report concerns appropriately, and work effectively with support staff.
  • Model professionalism in conduct, presentation, and collaboration, adhering to health, safety, and inclusion policies.

Fluency Duty
