Year Group Leaders (with responsibility for a subject) and Class Teacher job summary

At Ben Jonson Primary School, we are seeking to appoint Year Group Leaders. The position requires consistently ‘good’ or better teachers with either aspirations to grow professionally within our team or somebody with established leadership experience. The right candidates for this Year Group Leader role will have at least 4 years’ experience as excellent practitioners who are ready for this next step in their career. The Year Group Leader post is a key role within the school and the candidates must be committed to the school’s vision and values. As part of the Middle Leadership Team, you will help manage and lead a three-form entry school, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to continue to improve standards and provide the best outcomes. The subject leadership responsibility will be decided on the individual’s strengths. Why choose us?
