Batley Multi Academy Trust’s sole purpose is to provide a great education for Primary and Secondary learners throughout a local family of schools. The Trust is passionately committed to the communities of Batley, Birstall, Dewsbury and our surrounding areas, serving our local learners and their families in order to secure excellent educational outcomes, partnered with high aspirations. Batley Multi Academy Trust currently comprises Batley Girls’ High School, Batley Grammar School, Field Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School, Healey Junior, Infant and Nursery School, Manorfield Infant and Nursery School and Upper Batley High School. We provide high quality education for all young people. This collaboration enables us to share expertise, knowledge and best practice to ensure academic and pastoral excellence throughout all of our schools, with all schools embracing the same overall ethos and values, whilst maintaining their own unique characters.
Batley Grammar School is a “good school” (Ofsted Oct 2018) and we continue our school improvement journey to become an outstanding school. We aim to combine our traditional ethos and culture together with a modern approach to teaching and learning. Visitors regularly comment about the friendly atmosphere and calm, purposeful learning environment being quite palpable. “Staff are proud of their school ….”; “It is a place where pupils can indeed ‘believe, grow and succeed”; “Pupils are committed to learning, they are respectful in classrooms and they try their best”; “Your school is a calm place to be, and a happy place to learn”. (Ofsted October 2018) At Batley Grammar School we value staff who take pride in their work and in the school and who are willing to contribute fully to the life of the school including its extra-curricular programme.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic person to support and develop learners to achieve their potential. The successful candidate will work with Senior Leaders and the Year Team in managing the welfare of learners, monitoring academic progress, attendance and behaviour across a year group.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive forward thinking Trust, who in return for your commitment and hard work, will support you to achieve your own career goals and aspirations.
