The role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Year Leader to join the team at Heritage High School. The successful candidate will be supporting the Year Manager to ensure pastoral needs of students are effectively met, raising their aspirations, self-esteem and motivation levels so that they can achieve their academic potential. You will be supporting attendance, punctuality, behaviour management, progress and attainment to an identified year group(s).

The person:

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic hardworking and is passionate about supporting young people achieve their best. We are looking for a candidate who puts the welfare of children at the heart of their work, is well organised and is a good communicator. Experience of mentoring or coaching young people and who is confident in dealing with difficult behaviour with the courage to challenge students to reach their best and reach their full potential while maintaining a calm working environment is essential.
