Year Team Support Officer job summary

Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm, Friday 8am to 3.30pm

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Year Team Support Officer to join our highly effective pastoral team. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in supporting students' wellbeing, attendance, behaviour and academic success.

Working closely with our Year Managers, Faculty Leaders, the SEND team and families, you will provide a first response to student and family needs, ensuring timely support and intervention. You will help create an environment where students feel safe, valued and able to succeed.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of working with young people in an educational, pastoral, youth work or community setting
  • Builds positive and professional relationships with students, parents and colleagues
  • Demonstrates resilience, empathy and excellent communication skills
  • Can work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including external agencies
  • Is highly organised, able to maintain accurate records and manage competing priorities
  • Shares our commitment to high expectations, inclusion and student success
  • Is committed to their own professional development and continuous improvement
