What skills and experience we're looking for

We currently have an exciting opportunity to recruit a 0.3 FTE SENDCo to our small, thriving church school starting September 2026. It would be desirable for the successful candidate to hold the SENDCo qualification

We are looking fora dynamic and ambitious SENCo who will work with our delightful children and ensure the needs of all our disadvantaged pupils are met by all of our teachers in our small, village, Church school with a strong Christian ethos and a friendly family atmosphere. We are happy and successful, with supportive staff, parents and Governors and an attractive working environment. Ofsted found that our school was ‘GOOD’ in October 2022.

We would like you to join us if you have a proven track record of:

  • Monitoring intervention, provision and tracking for pupils with SEND
  • Facilitating planning so that SEND pupils learn, persevere and make progress
  • Signposting systems, provision and support for parents/carers of SEND pupils
  • Working with partner agencies to support SEND pupils’ learning, inclusion and well-being
  • Planning SEND training for staff and governors.
