What skills and experience we're looking for
The governing body and leadership team at St George’s are seeking a committed and talented teacher to support the school’s drive for inclusion and excellent learning and teaching. Extensive induction and high quality CPD will be available for the successful candidate.
The successful applicant must have the following qualities:
- A deep understanding of and passion for high quality education
- A commitment to adaptive teaching so children access the full curriculum through high quality inclusion support
- Experience of supporting children with inclusion needs through high quality classroom teaching
- Ability to develop good relationships with children, colleagues and parents
- Positive behaviour management techniques
- Ability to work constructively as part of a team (we have classes in this year group)
- Willingness to show initiative
- An understanding of evidenced based practice in teaching
- Experience of assessment and planning for next steps
