What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a committed, proactive and hardworking reception teacher to join our team from 1 September 2025.

John of Gaunt Infant School is part of Aylsham Learning Federation. This exciting and innovative Federation supports the learning of children from nursery through to year 11. All schools are members of The Aylsham Cluster Trust, which along with other cluster schools, is focused on raising standards and improving the quality of life for our children and their families.

  • Is a confident and proficient primary practitioner with the desire and capability to ensure every child reaches their potential
  • Is highly confident to teaching phonics, maths and early reading
  • Has a good knowledge of the national curriculum for Key Stage 1
  • Is a professional who inspires children
  • Is a strong team player
