Hillview Primary School and Early Years is a very special place where Heart, Passion and Success permeate all that we believe and do. We strive to ensure all learners can be the best they can be, in an environment which is safe, respectful and nurturing. We pride ourselves on our inclusive ethos. Our dedicated teaching team and resourceful support staff, work tirelessly to create inspirational thematic learning environments, which immerse and inspire children to be lifelong learners. Themes are chosen to meet our children’s needs and interests, as well as provide a broad and balanced curriculum. Learning spaces outside of the classroom are plentiful at Hillview. We have a large forest school area, a pond, a poly tunnel for planting and growing, an outside classroom, a large flat field and two large playgrounds. Our outside spaces are used and enjoyed all year round. Children’s learning flourishes through careful planning, guidance and support, not to mention the right clothes for the job! Hillview Early Years provides governor led pre-school provision for children aged 2 years 9 months to 4 years. As part of our family the children and staff benefit from shared access to all of the school’s facilities and working closely with our Early Years Foundation Stage teaching team.
